BTW: Federal has discounted the Nyclad line so if you use these best to stock up. I only use jacketed rounds and have no problems with bullet setback because of recoil. I shoot about 10 rounds once a month for function checks. It was not unpleasant until about 55 rounds.Ĭlearly the gun was not designed for extensive range work, and with alot of +P loads will start to lose timing pretty quick. I shot about 70 rounds of Federal Nyclad 148 grain wadcutters, JHP`s and +P 125 grain Nyclad HP`s with no problems when I first got it.

The double action pull I would guess to be about 12lbs and single action about 4-5 lbs.the one I got is amazingly accurate IMO in both modes, but especially in SA. It has a sleeved barrel, matt black finish & gray cylender with a red insert ramp front sight, knotched rear strap sight.Ī lot of thought went into making this a low weight gun, the rear strap and trigger, and trigger guard are grooved, the rubber grips protect the finger from being smacked by the trigger guard in recoil. Unloaded it`s weighs about as much as an empty Coke can, large hands can cover it completley. It is very well made and finely finished, more like the the S&W`s of the 1950-60`s then the 1990`s guns, which is good because they are not cheap. I have the 337PD Airlite and like it very much.
